Ralph Jones our Chairman founded Preci-Spark in 1960. The company was born into special process manufacture with the purchase of 2 Wickman electro-discharge machines.
With the firm principle of investment in people and technology the company has grown organically.
Over the decades Preci-Spark has had ventures in other markets however its core business operations have always been high tech manufacturing, of which currently Aerospace forms about 60%

Apprenticeships and Training
Preci-Spark clearly understands that whilst investment in new technology is important, investment in people is essential and prides itself in its commitment to its employees.
Throughout its history Preci-Spark has benefited from 82 employees exceeding 25 years service to the company. Over the years we have had 130 apprentices complete their apprenticeships. Many of whom are in managerial, supervisory or skilled positions.
To date we have trained over 450 people to NVQ level 2 and level 3. It is compulsory for all semi-skilled employees to undertake the NVQ programme.
