The role:
- Make various Jigs and Fixtures for our machining, inspection and assembling departments.
- The machines used are conventional milling machines and surface grinders where you be working from engineering drawings, sketches or models, working to +/- thou tolerances.
- Health, safety and environment compliance.
Requirements:
- Ideally, time served as an apprentice.
- Good experience with manual milling.
- Proven experience of working to tight tolerances.
- Conversant with engineering drawings.
- Preferably, experience with manual surface grinding.
