The role:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end NPI process for aerospace components and systems.
- Drive the APQP and PPAP in accordance with AS13100 requirements.
- Drive project planning, risk management, and milestone tracking.
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Programme teams.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100 regulations where applicable).
- Oversee PFMEA, control plans, and validation activities.
- Champion continuous improvement throughout production launch.
- Lead the Project Planning KPIs matrices
- Owns the internal procedures of NPIs, including APQP, PFMEA, PPAP etc.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in NPI, project management, or manufacturing engineering — ideally within aerospace or a highly regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering design, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
- Excellent knowledge of AS13100 & AS9145 related to APQP, PPAP requirements
- Strong understanding of major Aerospace OEMs NPIs requirements
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and change management processes is a plus.
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related discipline preferred.
- Full UK driving licence (role will involve some travel between sites).
