The role:
- Performing in-house inspection as required by the supplier/ customer Source Inspection requirements.
- Recording results for inspections undertaken, highlighting any non-conformance and accepting or rejecting finished items as required.
- Review supplier/ customer quality records to allow the quality release certificate to be signed enabling product to be released.
- Raise and monitor non-conformance documentation as required during source inspection activity.
- Carry out any other inspection duties as requested.
- Health, safety and environment compliance.
- Upon a successful interview, Preci Spark’s application process requests that a basic criminal record may be carried out.
Essential knowledge, skills & experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings.
- Use of conventional measuring equipment.
Preferred knowledge, skills & experience:
- Experience of the Quality Management Standard AS9100.
- Experience of the AS13001 Aerospace Industry standard.
- Qualification to the above through the SAE DPRV Training course.
- Experience of working to Aerospace OEM requirements.
