Requirements for the position of Toolmaker:
- Ideally, a time-served apprentice.
- Good experience of Manual Milling.
- Proven experience of working to tight tolerances.
- Conversant with engineering drawings.
- Preferably, experience with manual surface grinding.

Role of a Toolmaker includes:
- Make various Jigs and Fixtures for our machining, inspection and assembling departments.
- The machines used are conventional milling machines and surface grinders, where you be working from engineering drawings, sketches or models, working to +/- thou tolerances.
